Our journey began in 1985 when Taylor Corporation introduced custom presentation folders as a specialized product line. It was the beginning of a revolution in business presentation materials. The folder division quickly gained momentum, serving distributors nationwide with unmatched quality and speed.

But our roots go deeper. The foundation for this success was laid decades earlier in 1948, when Bill Carlson launched Carlson Letter Service from his Minnesota home. The small printing business specialized in fine stationery and strategically served the wholesale wedding market. When Glen Taylor joined the company, his innovation and leadership transformed the business into Carlson Craft, eventually creating Taylor Corporation in 1975.

By 2000, our folder division had grown so successful that it needed its own dedicated facility. In 2017, we proudly rebranded as FolderWorks™. The name that reflects our commitment to delivering exceptional folder experiences.

Strategic Growth

In 2023, we broadened our product line when we acquired Epoly®. This strategic move integrated Epoly’s expertise in poly folders, envelopes, and document holders with our proven folder production excellence.
